Launching an EDA Development Platform by February

If I am elected Leader in November, we will build and launch an EDA Development Platform by February 28, 2027.

Strong parties are built in communities.

Our Liberal EDA members and volunteers bring deep local knowledge, relationships and experience and they need the tools and support to put that knowledge to work.

Everywhere I go, members tell me the same thing: our party has been talking about getting ready for years but EDAs still don’t have the support they need.

Talking about it gets us nowhere. More importantly, a plan without a date is still just talk.

If I am elected Leader in November, we will build and launch an EDA Development Platform by February 28, 2027.

It will launch with real resources for the work you are already doing: fundraising, recruiting candidates and volunteers, outreach, election readiness, and training for the people who take those jobs on, often for the first time.

But the resources are not the point. No one in our party knows your community better than you do. Top-down organizing does not work and it never has.

February 28 is just the beginning. This is meant to give you a direct line to the party. EDAs will be able to easily suggest ways to improve and enhance the portal and they will be able to support each other's ideas so the best ideas get built first.

This builds on important conversations already underway within our party about how we renew, reconnect, and strengthen our organization for the future.

Together we can build a stronger party, earn trust, and prepare to govern.
